چکیده

This paper proposes a direct power control scheme for an offshore wind turbine-driven surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous generator with full back-to-back converter situated onshore to decentralize the weight of turbine. The proposed model is designed in stationary reference frame and does not require phase-locked loop as opposed traditional vector current method. Simple feed-forward feedback loops are used extract maximum available power, maintain constant voltage at coupling DC link, ensure injection into electric network unity factor. Simulation results carried out MATLAB/SIMULINK show that has fast transient response steady-state performance consistent model. Furthermore, eigenvalue analysis demonstrate method’s robust variations different system parasitic elements, even under both stiff weak conditions. These also indicate can operate effectively when located close load center, while turbine proximity offshore. be suitable multiple specific applications it potential reduce overall weight, volume, cost infrastructure.

Analysis and Design of a Permanent-Magnet Outer-Rotor Synchronous Generator for a Direct-Drive Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine

In Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Generators (PMSGs) the reduction of cogging torque is one of the most important problems in their performance and evaluation. In this paper, at first, a direct-drive vertical-axis wind turbine is chosen. According to its nominal value operational point, necessary parameters for the generator is extracted. Due to an analytical method, four generators with differen...

Wind Turbine Driven by Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator

A permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) variable speed wind turbine connected to an electrolyzer and a battery model system is presented in this paper. Hydrogen gas could be produced from the model system, when a variable wind speed is applied to the PMSG driven variable wind turbine. The simulation results presented shows the nature of some of the variables of the PMSG wind driven turb...

Control of permanent magnet synchronous generator wind turbine for stand-alone system using fuzzy logic

In this paper, the control scheme of a wind energy conversion system for remote sites using fuzzy logic is presented. Two fuzzy controllers are proposed: the first one is dedicated to the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of a variable speed permanent magnet synchronous generator wind turbine. The second fuzzy controller has the the objective to manage both the production and the storage of e...

Modeling and Control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator Wind Turbine with Energy Storage

Wind energy is an important renewable source which is used for power generation for a stand-alone as well as grid connected applications. In many remote areas, loads are usually connected away from the grid. In such cases, isolated wind energy systems can be considered as an effective way to provide continuous power to electrical loads. The power conversion unit features a windturbine-driven PM...
